You’re a good singer. You have been told this- maybe only by your mom, but you believe it in your heart. You want to work on this skill to make it better because singing is fun.
You have a kid that can’t stop singing. He or she drives you nuts! They sing the commercials on the TV or radio, they sing to narrate their lives. Singing is just a part of the fabric of who they are. You want to nurture this obvious gift of theirs, but don’t know where to start.
You’ve been trying to get voice lessons from SOMEONE in Sioux Falls for years, and can never find anyone with any openings in their studio.
You used to sing, but then you left school and never had the chance to do choir again. You would like to take it back up again, but don’t know who to talk to.
You use your singing voice a lot, but recently, something has changed. Now it hurts, or it doesn’t sound right to you, or it won’t do what it used to do.
Whatever your reason for exploring voice lessons, we are here to help you find your voice.
We offer a variety of options for private, semi-private or group lessons, classes and workshops throughout the year to help you grow as a singer, musician, and more self-aware human.
You can schedule as often as you want to meet your budget and calendar. We are open 6 days a week and have multiple teachers to choose from.
Once you join the effVA, you become a part of a big family of singers who will support you through the ups and downs of your vocal journey. How much you participate is up to you, but you are welcome here.

Ways to Sing
Group Voice Lessons
(4-6 students - 60 minutes) are a great way to learn together in community. Each group will look different because the teacher will curate the lessons to fit the students involved. Every student gets individualized attention within the larger group.
Semi-Private Voice Lessons
(2-3 students- 30 minutes) are available for students wanting to work with a partner- whether that’s on duets or to help build confidence.
Private Voice Lessons
Available as 30 minute, 45 minute or 60 minute sessions. At your Initial Fit session, you will be paired with a primary teacher, but after your first 6 sessions with them, you are free to schedule with any of our teachers when they are available. This service is available to students age 10 and up or by invitation.
Classes
We offer classes in music literacy, basic piano skills, acting, and other topics taught to singers by singers. These classes will run in 8-week sessions throughout the year.
Workshops
We offer workshops periodically throughout the year on topics of interest to Academy Members. These sessions will be a one day, 2-hour event
Membership
Membership in the Effervescent Voice Academy is a payment option that saves you a few dollars if you frequent our studio. It also comes with various other perks and a t-shirt (yay!).
